The monitoring of the project "Fostering Competencies Development in Belarusian Higher Education" was held. The project was selected for implementation under the CBHE Erasmus+ Call for Proposals-2016.
Representatives of 10 involved in the project organization (8 universities - BSU, BSU, BSPU, BSEU, GRAS, GSU, PSU, GrSU, the Ministry of Education and the Republican Institute of Higher Education), as well as the project coordinator from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) took part in the monitoring. Representative of the EU delegation in Belarus also participated. Monitoring was conducted by NEO Belarus representatives.
Together with Belarusian and Spanish colleagues, universities from Lithuania, Poland and Finland are participating in the project.
The project is aimed at developing a competence approach in the Belarusian higher education. On March 30, 2017 the international seminar "Modern Approaches in the Educational and Programming Support of Higher Education" was organized within the framework of the project on the basis of the Belarusian State University. Now there is a preparation for questioning of teachers, students and employers, which will be held on the basis of 8 Belarusian universities participating in the project. The partners plan to evaluate the satisfaction with the learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement of methodological tools and indicators for the conceptualization of learning outcomes from the competency point of view.
